A great color combination for fall/winter is that of black, brown, gray & white. You can always also add a bright color pop to this mix to give it more color if you want. I like adding white as the light color to the mix because it stays with the very neutral feel of it all. I absolutely love the simplicity, chicness & ease that this mix represents.
Fall/Winter In Florida Edition
Gray & White Lace Overlay Sweater | Phillip Lim Black Purse (sold out) - Only Available on EBay now | ASOS Black Pants | Black Crochet Beanie
In this look, I replaced the gray/white tanktop with this amazing cotton/lace overlace sweater. I am still wearing it with sandals in this look since it's still above 75 here in Florida but at night when it's chillier I can get away with adding a cute beanie to the mix and still look like I'm not quite expecting snow here anytime soon. I'm counting down the days until we reach the 60's here mainly because I can't wait to start wearing all my boots, scarfs and all the fun winter accessories that we only get a chance to wear for a short few months here.
Real Winter Edition
Gray & White Lace Overlay Sweater | ASOS Black Pants | Phillip Lim Black Purse (sold out) - Only Available on EBay now | Black Crochet Beanie | Brown Tory Burch Selma Boots
Now for the rest of the world that's actually really expecting snow sometime in the near future, I would replace the brown sandals with brown boots. My favorite way to top off this look is by adding a classic black leather jacket to it. If your feeling bright colors that day though any bright single color jacket would look great as well also.

Every new season, we find ourselves craving some new certain pieces that are showing up everywhere we seem to look. Getting new items on occasion is necessary in order to keep your look and style updated and fresh, but you don't need to invest in every piece you purchase and are better off to comparative shop for most items until you find one that's the kindest on your budget.
I believe that investing in key pieces such as every day bags and quality shoes is the smartest thing to do, but when it comes to trying out new trends that always coming and going, you are better of saving your money there and checking out stores such as Forever 21, T.J.Maxx, Marshalls, Loehmanns and Target.
Looking up to date and trendy all year round can be very affordable as long as your shopping in the right places and for the right things. In the next few episodes in this series I will be sharing lots of tips that I've learned over the years as a shopper and a fashion stylist that are essential to smart shopping. Hope you enjoy the second episode and have a terrific week! See you all tomorrow for Episode 3 where I'll be answering another one of your recent questions for me. Happy Shopping & Happy Saving!

As many of you already know from my very first fitness article about my combined love of fashion & fitness. When working out, I feel that's it's important to feel extremely comfortable in what you are wearing, yet still feel like you are staying true to your personal style while doing so. I fell in love with Body Actions line due to two reasons.
The fiber material that the clothes are made with really is unprecedented to every other line out there. It's soft and breathable material is awesome while working out and very comfy & cozy while dubbing them as casual attire with a trendy sense of style. It's a perfect blend of casual & glam for anyone on the go.
Since I am a fan of transitioning pieces I love, being able to go from workout wear to going to the park, grocery store or mall wear simply by changing or replacing a piece with another one and adding an accesory. It's easy, practical and stylish. Being as busy as I am it's nice to have pieces like this to work with in my closet and in my life.
As a treat for all my readers, I have a special 25% off a Body Action order discount code for you all which includes free shipping. If you want to love how you look and feel in and out of the gym in any of these pieces just put in the code - SKY25 when you are checking out your items and voila you're good to go! Here's the website for you to check out their new fab latest collection from Body Action USA.

Also, doing what you love to do always make working out more fun. Did you ever used to play a sport when you were younger that you don't anymore? Staying fit & active is much easier when you're enjoying your activity. For me it was dusting off my old tennis racket and getting back on the court. Best way to get some cardio in when you are having fun with it and doing what you love! For any health & fitness question that you all have for me can be e-mailed to me @ firstname.lastname@example.org. I will be doing weekly video segments answering them for you. Have a Wonderful Wednesday and remember to also dance like no one's watching ;) !

Ann Taylor Colorblock Dress | SE Black Fringe Booties | Gold Necklace | Black Quilted Bag (similar) | Pink Bracelet | Turquoise Bracelet (one of my favorite pieces of jewelry!) | MK Runway Watch
This is the classic color combination that has been my top favorite for as long as I can remember. A black and white colorblock dress is one of the best go to pieces that you'll ever own. It's so easy to dress it up with heels or dress it down with some fringe booties as I did here. I also really like to add some slight color with the accessories to give it more of a fun spin to the look.
A turquoise & pink bracelet will instantly add a very pretty but quiet color pop to your outfit. Now that fall is here I love transitioning summer dresser into fall wearable ones by adding booties, boots, vests, jackets and scarfs to them. Coming up soon, I will be styling a very summery dress and showing exactly what key pieces to add to it to make it fall ready in a jiffy. Happy Friday and wishing you all a wonderful weekend!

My favorite season is here and it's time to transition our favorite summer pieces into fall ones by pairing them up with long sleeve shirts, blouses, cardigans and blazers. I love just about anything that is crochet and these pair of ivory creme shorts are my most versatile piece to work with. During the summer months they are worn with tank tops, tube tops and a light short sleeve blouse or shirt.
Now since the weather is starting to cool, well at least for the majority of the country at least because here in Florida we're still up in the 80's mid-day but hopefully by the end of October we all get to start enjoying the cool crisp air and are done with the summer heat! I think every Floridian is extremely looking forward to this and to breaking out our boots and being able to wear jeans again without feeling like we're going to pass out from the heat as we do during the summer if we attempt any form of long pants.
I would live in jeans, boots and a blazer everyday if it were up to me but that was only possible when I used to live up north and those days are long gone. The best way to transition any type of shorts into fall is to wear tights underneath them along with a long sleeve blouse, a blazer and some leather knee-high boots. One of my other favorite looks to create.
The 1st look: The shorts are worn with a sheer long sleeve dark brown blouse and tan peep toe pumps. Neutral Fall colors make it feel like fall even though it's still hot out.
The 2nd look: I paired them up with a tweed jacket (There's nothing better than a tweed jacket for fall!), tan peep toe pumps and a navy bag. Brown earth tones are complimented by adding navy accessories.
The 3rd look: This is the more casual laid back look of the two for the day. Beige and black are also a perfect match for fall. Adding a black blazer and black wedge sneakers ensure that you are very comfy yet still stylish. A perfect look if you know you will be doing a significant amount of walking for the day. Save the 4 inch heels for the office, dinner or anywhere that you'll be sitting the majority of the time.
I hope you are all having a great Monday so far and I will see you soon for a new episode of Questions with Sky Style on tips about how to shop economically and stay within your budget while still being able to recreate all your favorite new looks and styles for the new fall season. Have a magnificent day and never let anyone dull your sparkle :)

A high impact piece such as the tulle sequined skirt or any other sequined item is best paired with something that dresses it down. This is a very versatile piece because depending on the top that is paired with it can transition from a day into a night look instantly. My favorite way to style sequins is to mix it with a chambray shirt, a jean jacket or a very plain white tank top.
For the night time look I would pair it up with a very plain black top. With any sequined piece, you want it to take center stage of the ensemble and be the main focus of your outfit. Dressing down a piece can be just as important as dressing up one for some certain looks. Most importantly is to have fun in what you are wearing and be true to yourself and your own signature style. Happy Wednesday and see you soon for the next episode of the new video segments Questions with Sky Style. xoxo

Fashion is always a revolving door and what's in and out changes quite frequently. Classic style though is timeless. The one piece of clothing that never goes out of the style is the perfectly timeless little black dress. For guys, it's the well tailored black suit. The most important thing about this wardrobe staple is the fit. The dress that I am showing here was designed and created for me by the Boca based fashion designer Letty Sanchez. Her entire boutique tailors to helping you create the perfect LBD for you and having it sketched out and made to tailor your body to perfection.
It's one thing that as a stylist I absolutely love! There are many times that my clients ask me to find them a certain type of a dress and regardless to how many stores we go to in search of that perfect one, sometimes we settle for a "good enough" one and not "the perfect one." When something is created and made especially for you, it's a perfect fit from the very start.
The possibilities are endless when it comes to where you can wear a LBD to. If there's one item in your closet to invest in buying, this would be the one. It's the perfect canvas to alter by adding different colors and accessories to form a complete look with it. It's also still perfect if you decide to add all black accessories to it. Here I am styling this beautiful creation of a dress transitioning from day into night.
