Summer Must Have - Maxi Love




When it comes to creating the easiest and most stylish summer outfit for myself or any of my clients, I go with a fitted tank top, a maxi skirt in an appropriate lenght for your height, sandals (flat for day and a slight heel for night) and a coordinating bag. Add a great fedora hat along with your favorite sunnies and you're ready to go and didn't spend too much time on selecting your emsemble for the day. A maxi skirt in a black, grey or geometric pattern is going to be the most versatile and easiest thing you will own for the summer. 

I found this is very easy to style because any color top will go with it and it's so easy to dress up or down depending on the accessories paired with it such as the shoes, bag and jewelry. For a night look, I would change up the flat sandals to black heel sandals, wear a dressier tank top and finish off the look with a cropped blazer. For the day, this casual cotton lavendar top and fedora hat work best for the sunny weather. I like to keep the jewelry simple with a gold mother of pearl pendant and a few light bracelets. I added an ivory bag to the look since I like to coordinate the color of the hat to the color of the bag. C + I Sky Style Couture Launch With The Bloggers Block & OLounge





I had my first formal launch for my new Chloe + Isabel jewelry line and was happy to have done it alongside The Bloggers Block and The Branding Club at the beautiful OLounge in Ft. Lauderdale. The event was filled with lots of style, blogging beauties and an amazing presence of media made up of great groups of people. The Bloggers Block is known for promoting the latest in fashion, beauty and lifestyle of South Florida and the world. Their quarterly events are brilliantly created to bring insight and awareness of local brands and businesses.

 They are longtime professionals in the media, PR and marketing industry and well known for showcasing and promoting popular local and international brands with a live blogging and social media presence. This was my second event that I hosted with The Bloggers Block and my good friend and CEO Dayana Brown. Her strong background in the media/event planning has made her events fun, successful and the happening place to be for bloggers, brands and the media. At this event I came back as a blogger and a brand which was a great experience. I look forward to many more events and networking with many great professionals within my industry who have great energy and enthusiasm for what they do.

Sky Couture Styling With Etiquette Boutique


I was asked to style at Etiquette Boutique's grand opening of their 2nd location of their popular womens boutique here in South Florida. It was a breeze finding beautiful and unique pieces to create a look with for my model. The clothes are very pretty and trendy which makes it effortless for me to create a beautiful look with them. The boutique is located in a new and chic shopping plaza at Unions Square Plaza in Ft. Lauderdale. 

This was not my first time visiting Etiquette, I went and checked out the boutique back in February and instantly fell in love with the decor, the design aesthetic and of course the fabulous clothes and accesorries. I instantly knew that whoever was in charge of handling  the selection process of the clothes which they carry had a chic, classic and very timeless eye for style. The pieces they carry range from boho to beautifully polished. One of my favorite accessories that they carry are the Pink Pewter jeweled headbands. I bought 5 of them the first time I was at Etiquette and still wear them all the time and mix them with my own pieces from my own jewelry collection.

Pearls Are Always Appropriate - Day To Night






You can never go wrong with wearing pearls. No matter what the occasion, they can be dressed down for a picnic or dressed up for a night on the town. When styling the transition of this piece, you can see that I kept the necklace and ring the same, all that I switched up was the earrings and bracelet to create a dressier look. The small silver hoops and silver cuff dress it down for the day and the pearl stud earring with the bow pearl bracelet complete a perfectly classy look fit for any Audrey Hepburn fan. The bright blue clutch adds a pretty color pop to the look and makes it more lively then if it would be paired with the usual black. I would also style this with a silver clutch also. 

When it comes to statement accessories, investing in one piece that you love and can be styled many different ways like this one is a very smart investment. Nautical Summer Styling With Navy

One of my favorite color combinations has always been that of navy and white. The perfect accessory that compliments any nautical look is anything with navy and silver in it. I love navy because it simply goes with any color, it's softer then black and it's very chic and sophisticated. If I had to pick my all time go to outfit, it's that of a white shirt and dark navy jeans/jean shorts. It's a look that can be dressed up or down by the accessories that are added to it instantly. 

During the day, a cotton tank-top and jeans can be dressed up by adding a very glitzy necklace or can be more casual by wearing it with sandals then dress it up later by switching up the sandals to navy heels for night time and add a beautiful white tailored blazer to your look and it changes completely. Also, convertible jewelry is also the best thing when it comes to the versatility of a look. For instance, the navy earrings you see listed as number 6 above are actually the same pair except one look can be worn just as studs or for a more dressed up look, you simply snap the chandelier part on for a more dressy look at night. Then number 1 is a wrap bracelet that can also be worn as a necklace.

Happy Wednesday everyone, hope your week has been great and productive so far. I'm having a busy week writing my first article for the July issue in UK's The Fashion Globe and getting things in order for my event this Friday at O Lounge in Ft. Lauderdale. A floral print dress is something that can be styled in many different ways. Due to it's very lively print, it can stand to be worn alone without anything else added to the look except a pair of heels, a purse and a statement necklace and still look perfectly put together. When working with a vibrant print such as this, the jewelry must be kept minimal to balance out the structure of the dress.

For a more casual way to style it, pair it up with a cropped jean jacket and some comfy wedge sandals for daytime outings. To make it more work appropriate and business friendly add a fitted blazer and your all set for the office.

My Top Items For A Versatile Wardrobe This Season

There's nothing I love more than a truly versatile piece that once you buy it, the options are limitless in how many different ways it can be styled. These are 6 of my favorite new pieces that I've been adding to all my clients wardrobe this season, including mine. 


1- The white blazer because you can wear it with jean shorts and heels and all of a sudden you just made jean shorts dressy

2- The pink skirt: it will take you from day to night by just switching out the flat day sandals for the heels at night. 

3- The cropped jean vest: it's the perfect piece for maxi dresses, strapless dresses and  can be thrown over anything like a simple white tee and it will pull together your look effortlessly. 

4- The classic white shorts: they can be worn to the beach with your bathing suit, to the park with a tee and for night time with a dressy chiffon shirt and a pair of stiletto pumps. 

5- The jeweled flat sandals: these babies will be your saving grace for spring/summer because every time you get into the "what shoes am I going to wear with this mode?"...they will be right there sparkling at you and the style dilemma is solved. 

6- The blue dress: this color and shade of blue will compliment everybody. It's pretty, classy and can be ready for office attire by adding a blazer and heels or can be worn at the park with your kids with a cropped jean vest and jeweled flats as a more casual look.


The most versatile pair of jeweled flat sandals are going to be those that have either all silver jewels, gold jewels or multi colored jewels like this pair of BCBGeneration pair. Being Brunette & Styling Spring Blush Pink


Welcome to Spring everyone and as you can see my biggest change this season is deciding to go back to my natural brunette hair color. After spending half my life on & off as a blonde, I'm happy to say that I'm going to just stick with the hair color that God have me and I'll never have to worry about doing so much repair work on it and buying countless amounts of hair repair products because so much damage occurs with all the bleach and other chemicals that are put on hair during the whole highlighting process.


I'm content and at peace with who I am that I no longer feel like I have to be someone that I'm not, and I'm a real brunette. Every woman that has been processing their hair with bleach for a long time knows what I'm talking about when I say that you pay $100+ every 6 weeks to keep up the color/root maintenance and then so much more trying to repair the damage that occurs during your visits.  


I've found that when you fix yourself from the inside first, you aren't so concerned anymore with changing your outer self so much. Being real and true to yourself is the most stylish thing of all. Now since I am a fashion/wardrobe stylist, I love seeing how amazing women can transform their confidence and self-esteem just by knowing that they have great outfits all ready to go in a personal Lookbook which I've created for them that they can refer and go to every time they need to get dressed. 


Fashion for me has never been from the superficiality aspect of it but more from the notion that when you look good and feel good in what you are wearing you feel good about yourself and have an extra pep in your step and a new dash of confidence that might of not been there before. Also wearing clothes that truly fit you properly can change your entire mood for the day. 


So moving on now to styling blush pastel pink for the spring, I like to mix it up with a tan blazer, black & brown color block heels, black bag and statement jewelry from my Chloe+Isabel by Alaina. Don't be afraid of soft pastel colors because once you add some neutral tones to it it's got a perfect blend of softness and business look to it. This is an example of a great work, church or dinner outfit and if you want to be more casual and the weather's warm then ditch the blazer and show those pastels off. 


I've had clients who never wore much pastel or pinks and once I styled their look in new ways they found that these colors that really add to the versatility of their wardrobe. Three Floor Love Part 3 - The LPD






There's no other item of clothing that I can think of that makes you feel more feminine & dainty then that of a pink dress. When it comes to picking out the perfect pink dress for you, always keep in mind that finding a great fit is key just like with most items. Then look for fun details such as lace, eyelet & mesh since they really play up the beauty of the pink presence of the dress. It's no secret that pink has been my favorite color since I knew what colors were, but now I find myself being very picky about which pink pieces to add to my wardrobe.
